    Hello! I'm new to needlework in general. Is this Hardanger work? It is so very beautiful! I love your colour choices. I wanted to know, is Hardanger work easy to learn? Can it be self taught, or do you actually need to attend a class?

    Hi there, this project has some hardanger and some drawn thread work in it. I've been teaching myself hardanger - it's a bit daunting at first so I'm not sure it's good to start with if you're new to needlework. Google "Classic Embroidery Tiles" for some really good teaching projects - the explanations are great. And why not join Crossstitchforum where you'll get lots of advice and encouragement.
